AfriCORR is an initiative of the Corrosion Institute of Southern Africa. It has a special interest in connecting Industry and Academia through-out Africa. We look to create platforms that link research to action ultimately finding African Solutions for African problems, all the while ensuring we remain in touch with worldwide trends.

The African Corrosion Congress provides a forum for African and International researchers and industrial practitioners in the field of corrosion to explore African corrosion challenges and develop African solutions thereto. Hosted by the Corrosion Institute of Southern Africa in association with NACE International, AfriCORR 18  provides a welcome arena for interested parties to gather together to share, discuss and learn from each other as we endeavor to combat corrosion throughout the continent. African Corrosion Journal

The African Corrosion Journal was born out of AfriCORR'14. The first Issue was published mid-2015. The African Corrosion Journal is a peer-review Journal focussing on excellence in corrosion-related papers primarily from African centred research. 


AfriCORR Corrosion School - during AfriCORR18

There is a need to enhance the hands-on training in various aspects of practical research within the corrosion sector. AfriCORR Corrosion School endeavours to address this by offering focussed workshops and training in specific skills. The Corrosion School is presented immediately prior to AfriCORR Congress.
